We don't care about follower counts or journalism degrees. We care about one thing: have you been there, and can you write about it honestly?

  • You have visited the destination you're writing about — recently (within 3 years).
  • You write in clear, engaging English (native or near-native proficiency).
  • You can meet agreed deadlines and respond to editorial feedback within 72 hours.
  • You have original photos, or access to properly licensed images for your article.
  • You disclose any free stays, press trips, or brand relationships in your pitch.

What We Don't Accept

  • AI-generated or AI-assisted content of any kind.
  • Content previously published elsewhere (including your own blog).
  • Generic listicles with no first-hand experience behind them.
  • Undisclosed paid placements or guaranteed positive reviews.
  • Articles about destinations the writer has not personally visited.

First-time writer? No problem. Include a writing sample — a blog post, social caption, or anything that shows your voice. We've onboarded many great writers who had never been published before.

  • Destination guides: 2 000–4 000 words
  • Itineraries: 1 500–3 000 words
  • Listicles / tips: 1 000–2 000 words
  • Use H2/H3 headings, short paragraphs, and bullet points where helpful.

Tone & Voice

  • Conversational but authoritative — like advice from a knowledgeable friend.
  • Specific and practical over vague and aspirational.
  • Honest about negatives — readers trust balance.
  • No clickbait headlines or hyperbolic superlatives.

Accuracy & Links

  • Verify all prices, hours, and visa info before submitting.
  • Cite official sources for visa and safety information.
  • Affiliate links are added by our editors — do not include your own.
  • External links must be to authoritative, non-competing sources.

Images

  • Minimum 1 200 px wide, JPG or WebP, under 2 MB each.
  • Your own photos preferred; Unsplash/Pexels accepted with credit.
  • No watermarked, AI-generated, or stock-library-watermarked images.
  • Provide captions and alt text for every image.
